My sculptural work encompasses a
multiplicity of imagery surrounding the
mysteries of life, its renewal and its
transformation. Sculpture is a union of
forces, those that act against the body and
those that emanate from it. My creative
achievement happens when both are in
harmonious balance. The dialogue between
human content and abstract figuration,
between the interior and the exterior, brings
the themes of renewal and transformation
into an intertwined metaphor that allows us
to look within as well as to the outer frame.
